Of all the memories that you'll take home with you, having walked the Coast To Coast, a stopover at Butt House in Keld will be one of your fondest! The hospitality of Doreen and Ernest Whitehead is truly legendary - from the comfort of their guest rooms to the substantial meals that they serve.

Butt House is typical of the stone-built farmhouses that you'll see as you make your way through this part of Yorkshire's famous Dales. Their accommodation consists of two doubles, one twin, one family and one single bedroom, all of which are en-suite and have tea/coffee making facilities and hair-dryers.

The guest lounge has a colour television, if you feel the need to catch-up on news of the 'outside world' and a cosy open fire.

A separate dining room provides a convivial atmosphere where besides enjoying Doreen's cooking, you will have the opportunity to chat with fellow-walkers. Butt House have a residential licence and offer a good selection of quality wines, spirits and beers.

There is nowhere else to eat in Keld, the rate includes Bed, Breakfast and an Evening Meal. The 2006 the rate is £38 per person per night.

Dogs are welcome.
