The White Swan has recently been renovated to improve on the comfortable accommodation and yet to retain the pub’s character of beamed ceilings and hand pulled ales.

It was built in the seventeenth century and has one double, one family and two twin rooms. The rooms are inviting and spacious and there is also a camping area with all facilities available.

Since Wainwright visited and commented "You might with luck get a bag of crisps", the Inn has begun to serve traditional bar meals such as lasagne, chilli and vegetarian food. Visitors will enjoy relaxing in the bar with a substantial meal after a tiring day of walking.
Meals start at £8.50.

Bed and Breakfast in 2006 is priced from £27.50 per person per night.
