The Villa was built in 1892 as a lodging house, the first of its kind, at the top of Bay Bank. This Victorian property has been lovingly restored retaining all its original features such as servant bells, original cast iron fireplaces in all bedrooms, and cast iron range in the kitchen. To retain the character of the house there are no en-suite facilities; however there are 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet for guest use.

Limited free parking is available, and there is lockable storage for bicycles and motorcycles.There is a pleasant seating area at the front of The Villa to relax and take in the atmosphere of the village.

The Breakfast Room

Full English breakfast is included within the rate and consists of:

Fresh Orange Juice,
Choice of Cereals,
Bacon, Egg, Sausage, Tomato,
Fried Bread, Baked Beans, Mushrooms, Hash Browns
Toast & Tea or Freshly Brewed Coffee

Continental breakfast is available if you wish something lighter.

Vegetarian and other dietary requirements are catered for on request.

Breakfast is served in the Victorian style kitchen.
