Tranna
Hill offers non-smoking accommodation in a Victorian style house, on
the fringe of the small village of Newbiggin-on-Lune. It is situated
just off the A685 from Kirkby Stephen and is just a quarter of a mile
from the Coast to Coast route.
It is an
ideal base for country lovers and walkers. The Smardale Gill Nature
Reserve with the magnificent redundant viaduct, the Settle to Carlisle
railway line and Sunbiggin Tarn which attracts a large variety of wildlife,
are all within easy walking distance.
All
our rooms have views of the Howgills and Wild Boar Fell and are equipped
with pine furnishings, refreshment tray, T.V, radio alarms, hairdryers
and local information and guides.

lunches are offered.

facilities are also available. Dogs are not permitted. Non-smoking.
