The Shepherds Arms Hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Ennerdale Bridge, which is on the Coast to Coast route, and offers lots of activities including, canoeing, bird watching and pony trekking.

This small hotel is a free house and is open to the public. It has an informal and relaxed atmosphere, and boasts an extensive bar menu with daily specials and a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. Breakfast is served in the dining room and there is a comfortable lounge with an open fire to relax and socialise in after meals.

The hotel has five double and three twin rooms (all en-suite). All bedrooms are centrally heated, and offer a remote controlled television and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also the use of a drying room available.

Bed And Breakfast is from £37.50 per person per night based on 2 sharing, or £48.50 for single occupancy. Evening Meals are available from £7.25.
