At this beautifully situated Campsite in Keld you can either choose to camp in the valley centre with panoramic views of the hills surrounding you or you could pitch your tent beside the River Swale which winds through the small valley.

The Swale has fast flowing waterfalls to soothe rambler's weary feet and campfires are permitted on its banks.

The site has toilets for men and women with washbasins and a free hot shower is provided. There are also washing-up facilities and a small teashop with hot and cold drinks, light refreshments and an off licence.

Fees for the 2007 season are just £4.00 per person per night.

Children under 15 are just £2.00 each and the under 5's can camp for free!

Should you fall in love with this special part of Yorkshire, Mrs Rukin also has a very comfortable self-catering holiday cottage that sleeps four. Depending upon the time of the year, the weekly rental varies from £150 - £300.
