These are just three of the many complimentary remarks made to Park House campsite owners Peter Atkinson and Jan Coates. The site is half a mile before Keld on the Coast To Coast Route in a delightful location by the river Swale.

Peter and Jan are seasoned walkers and campers and so know what walkers need after a hard day on the fells. The site is small and quiet and ideal for those looking for a cheap and comfortable night's stay.

Fees For 2007 - (including shower) Adults £4, under 16's £2 and under 5's free.

Also available for longer stays is a cottage converted from a hay barn overlooking one of Swaledale's prettiest waterfalls. It provides luxurious centrally heated accommodation for up to 4 adults at rates from £155 - £275 per week. Short breaks (a minimum of 2 nights) are available all year and one dog is welcome.
