Butt House, Keld

Butt House
is typical of the stone-built farmhouses that you'll see as you make
your way through this part of Yorkshire's famous Dales. Run for many
years by Doreen and Ernest Whitehead, Butt House is synonymous with
the hospitality you can expect in Yorkshire, and Tony and Linda are
continuing this long tradition and pride themselves on warmly welcoming
travellers after a long day's trekking and provide drying facilities,
packed lunches, home cooked food and a fully licensed bar.
Linda is a fully qualified chef who has become well known for her 'Curried
Banana' soup and can cater for any dietary requirements.
Butt House has four letting bedrooms, one double en suite, one twin
en suite and two triple en suite. All bedrooms have televisions, hairdryers,
tea and coffee making facilities and fabulous views of the area.
On the ground floor there is a drying area for boots and coats, a lounge
with real open fire, dining room, and bar/reception area, where, in
the height of the season, you can enjoy a pint of Black Sheep Ale, available
on tap.
Dogs are
welcome.
