Brookside is in the centre of Ennerdale Bridge village, one hundred yards from The Coast to Coast route and next to the Shepherd's Arms Hotel.

There are three rooms available, one is a triple (with three seperate beds), one is a twin and there is one single, each with a wash hand basin and shaver point.

There are separate shower and toilet facilities and guests sitting and dining areas.

Drying is available and diets are catered for. There is also dry, safe storage for bicycles and space for car parking.Guests are asked not to smoke inside the house.

Dogs are not permitted. Packed lunches can be arranged.

The tariff for Bed and Breakfast in 2005 is £21.00 per person. A deposit of £6.00 is requested per person.
